Kristy Blizzard made her lifelong career in the accounting field. In 1979, she began her accounting career working alongside her family in the auto industry learning and mastering such jobs as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and financial statement preparation. After gaining such a diverse experience, Kristy began operating her own accounting services business serving such diverse businesses as graphic arts, restaurant/bars, antique malls, rental agencies, real estate, construction, and senior housing companies.
Kristy’s vast experience, attention to detail and organizational skills paved the way for her to eventually rise to the position of Vice President of Accounting at a regional size senior living operator, which manages multiple communities in the Western United States. For the latter twenty years of her career, Kristy chose to specialize in the senior living industry as she loves being able to engage with the senior living communities and help to improve the team members and resident’s overall quality of life.
In her free time, Kristy enjoys spending time with her family on the family boat. If not on the family boat, you can often find her on a paddleboard!
